FAQ

Q: How to change an existing group to protected?

A: The default setting of a group is for study.  You can change that during adding a new group direct to protected.  For changing an existing one: 1. Tap the edit icon (left most) on main screen, then turn off the study if in study mode. 2. Exit the edit mode by tapping the left icon again. 3. Tap the target group then tap the group setting icon (right most). 4. Turn on the protected switch.

Q: What behinds the favorite?

A: An item marked as Favorite will appear in study every day.  Tapping the Favorite icon will show all the favorite, categorized by groups. Items in protected groups will not be shown.

Q: Can a protected group be switched back to unprotected group for study?

A: Yes.  First go to the group setting to turn off the protection.  Then turn the group for study on main screen.  Please remember, the items in the group may out of study scope.  You may need to reset it by tapping the group reset icon (the group’s last but one icon).

Q: How to use the blue dot?

A: Tapping it will add a new item to the default group (used last time);

Double tapping it will remove the group defaulting; Long pressing it will launch the text recognition (OCR).

Q: Why search is the most frequently used function?

A: The search is an incremental search.  It is a keyword based search. So the order is irrelevant. Any match, no matter in item name or in item content, will be displayed as you typing.

Q: How to set the speech languages so that the study can speak different languages for different items?

A: There is two levels of speech language setting: study level and group level. To make it easier, we could turn on all the Auto Speech on study level(setting on study). Then fine tune each group setting.  For example, We want the items in group A speech English for Front, Back and Back B; the items in group B speech Chinese for Front only. So we set “English” as language for Front, Back and Back B for group A. For group B, we set “Chinese” for Front Voice, select “No Speech” for Back Voice and Back B Voice.

Q: Why the event and reminder are unique?

A: The event and reminder have a target item to be linked with.  So the items are weaved into a net via event and reminder, especially the event.

Q: Apple map address is supported?

A: Yes. Any item now has a map address property. Tap the red dot on map then select the car can route to the destination from current location. This is really convenient.  For instance, you are going to a party, which is held a place (the target item).  You set the address to the item during the event planning. So when the time comes, you only need a couple of tappings. No typing while driving.

问: 如何更改现有群组成加密群组？

答: 群组的默认设置为学习。 在添加新组时可以直接更改成加密群组。 更改现有的: 1. 在主屏幕上点击编辑图标 (最左边), 然后关闭学习模式。2. 再次点击左图标离开编辑模式。3. 点击目标群组, 然后点击群组设置图标 (最右侧)。4. 打开保护开关。

问: 收藏条目意味着什么？

答: 一个标记为收藏的条目每天都会出现在学习中。 点击收藏图标将显示所有的收藏, 按组分类。对加密群组， 不显示。

问: 一个加密群组是否可以切换到学习群组？

答: 可以。 首先到群组设置关闭保护。 然后到主屏幕将群组转到学习。 请记住, 组中的项目可能超出学习范围。 您可能需要通过点击群组复位图标 (组的最后一个图标) 来重置它。

问: 如何使用蓝点？

答: 点击它将添加一个新的条目到默认群组 (上次使用的群组);

双点它将删除群组默认值;长按它将启动文本识别 (OCR)。

问: 为什么搜索是最常用的功能？

答: 搜索是渐进式搜索。 这是一个基于关键词的搜索。所以它和词序无关。任何匹配 (无论在条目名称还是在条目内容中) 都将在键入时显示。

问: 如何设置语音语言, 使学习碰到不同条目可以自动说不同的语言？

答: 语言设置有两个层次: 学习层次和群组层次。为了使它更容易, 我们可以打开所有的学习水平上的自动演讲 (学习设置)。然后微调每个群组设置。 例如, 我们希望群组A中的条目的前部, 背部和背二部都读英语; 群组 B中的条目仅对前部读中文。我们把 "英语" 设置为群组A 前部, 背部和背二部的语言。 对于 群组B, 我们设置 "中文" 为其前部语音, 选择 "无语音" 为其背部和背二部的语音。

问: 为什么事件和提醒非常特殊？

答: 事件和提醒有一个要链接的目标条目。 因此, 条目通过事件和提醒被编织成一个网。特别是事件。

问: 支持苹果地图地址？
